I love this time of year. Aside from Christmas, there is the very special winter solstice tomorrow - I have always wondered why my excitement 'peaked' a few days before Christmas, and perhaps it is connected to this?
Anyway, my friend Susan also informed me that it will be a full moon eclipse around the time of the solstice. In fact tonight! It's quite auspicious and powerful in terms of planetry and astrology. Read here if you are interested to find out more about what that means inside and outside of ourselves - written in a far more eloquent style than my own - any of it resonate?
These photos were actually taken over a year ago - when N ventured out to try and capture an amazing moon one night. Tonight the snow is lit up - its practically daylight out there - but there is a cold mist off the loch, so I doubt we will see much of the moon here.
happy full moon eclipse solstice eve!

i was hoping to see the eclipse this morning but the thick dense fog means theres no chance unless you're able to venture a lot higher I guess
