So goes the song. When a friend recommended to look at a site called tiny happy, a window was opened into another world of crafty blogging - and gave me the inspiration to start up "the patchwork dress".
It helped to define my creativity by finding likeminded online crafters who work/find inspiration in a similar way.
Tiny Happy was the benchmark, and the site I have returned to daily since then as it gives such a wonderful blend of home life and prolific creative resourcefulness. Plus I just really like Melissa's stuff and am always keen to see what she has been up to next! Recently I have been enjoying conversations with her via email, and so was delighted when a package arrived from New Zealand!
full of goodies like these, a copy of New Zealand House & Garden magazine, and best of all...
this lovely buttercup bag which just makes me feel so summery! I love the fabric and the way it has been put together..
So thank you again Melissa, both for the parcel and all the blogging inspiration to get my work 'out there' too!
I just love this pattern and colours - quite 1950's in style.
I've kept it all sitting out on my creativity desk, just so I can look at it everyday and get a little bit of vintage inspiration and the promise of crafty days ahead!
Bird newsflash.... the starlings have had a second batch of babies behind the bookcase...
meanwhile, the ducks
have been featured in the local newspaper (excuse the out of focus picture!).
Seems they found a good place for breakfast!
so glad you liked everything- you are too kind with your words.
those starlings must be making an awful lot of noise!? i remember them being in the walls of our house when i was growing up. they were louder than us children i think!
