end of a cycle
Tomorrow is the solstice. It's the end of another solar year. Another year of growth & decay in nature. Looking forward to return of the light, growth, warmth and a sun arc-ing higher and higher in the sky.

although i need the warmth of the sun and also welcome it's return i am loving the silhouettes of the leafless trees against the sky just now and how they reveal their almost feather like branches.
our festive season starts tomorrow with solstice celebrations with friends and i am really looking forward to taking stock and reflecting.
wishing you peace and blessings dear Caireen x
and thank you for your friendship this year.
and also for the wee parcelete... you are so thoughtful. the carol sheets are especially great... don't know if i will be able to chop those ones up!.. maybe a sing song around the piano. with love x
