Quite simply using brown paper and some festive ink stamps. The stamps can be reused across the years, and inkpad colours can be changed - so although they can be a bit pricey initially, it will pay off - plus it's a lot of fun! It's really just a more sophisticated version of potato printing!
The 'ribbon' was cut from a strip of wallpaper from yesterday's gift. You can start to build up a palette of elements so although they look different, they also look good together.
The stamps can also be used to print up gift labels - make or buy these luggage labels from stationers.
Ooh I love that colour scheme, it looks very sumptious. I'd love to receive that gift! Now, I have been pondering stamps/no stamps for a while due to the high price of buying them in the first place, but you have tempted me to go browse in the local craft shops to see if I can find any reasonably priced stamps..... Failing that, I'll be getting crafty with the potatoes! This series of posts is great - thanks for sharing. Have a good week. Denise.
