Have managed to catch a few "naughty" downloads of the second HBO series of Flight of the Conchords, but not been able to see the whole thing yet - can't wait to see it properly on dvd.
I keep rewatching these 2 little clips. Normally the combination of comedy & song has me reaching for the off switch. It has to be done very well to work, and I think these guys have it down to a tee. Maybe it's the use of parody for each music genre that works - rather than out and out comedy.
This sketch is so bitter sweet - funny but also a bit sad. I love the moving wall... just love it.
Even rappers have feelings...
The reprise is just... sigh... so perfect.
fantastic... a new series... i just love these guys... esp Jermaine..cracks me up everytime...we have a friend who looks like him but alas is not him!.
this looks like it's going to be good. thanks for sharing the uploaded clips.

Great clips - made me chuckle - they are so clever with the parodys! I was horrified to see an advert for Kebab Flavour pot noodle on TV the other day - thay had totally ripped off FOTC in the way the actors looked and style of parody with song. I wonder if they had the guys permission? Can you copyright 'Style'?

ha! i love that video for 'hurt feelings' too. i'm glad you're enjoying the FOTC- as kiwis, we are very proud of them. :)
p.s. my favourite song is the r'n'b parody 'that lady' (with the lost dog.) so good!
