you know the song...
this is an idea I've had in the back of my head for a couple of years now... clutterbuckets!
they are bags, but they are really for keeping clutter, bits and pieces, projects or toys together round the house.
they are made from a mix of reclaimed fabrics, sometimes with new - 3 layers of fabric to make them sturdy... with no unfinished seams...
the retro green/brown was my prototype - lined with liberty fabric - and reversible!
...was so excited after showing to Suz, that I ran home and made another one -
with nursery type fabrics inside and out... I just love that exterior fabric... the dancing birds, and you can just see the owl with its nightcap.
I will be taking a couple along to Invercottage on Saturday.
Look fab C, are you bringing them on Sat???

I'm not surprised you're sew excited! They're lovely. Have been thinking of making some square ones to contain my clutter. Have you seen the ones at Maya*Made, made from old coffee sacks?
Bet these will sell at the fair on saturday...

Wow, what a fab idea. I'd need one the size of a wheel barrow to clear the clutter from my house!
