graphic quilts

here are a couple more quilts that caught my eye at the International Quilt Fair in Birmingham...

this was  a lovely colourful quilt with applique and embroidered shapes & words all to do with eco living.

I also liked this one, beautifully balanced and controlled with lovely stitch detail...

Oh my goodness, how sorry I am to have not had time before now to have a scroll through your recent posts.

These quilts are so inspiring in their creativity. The Japanese stitching was amazing, and each of the others really shows me what can be done with fabric, needle and thread in the hands of an artist.

Promise to be back soon. My own schedule has been way, way too overloaded at the shop.
