I loved this post by mousenotebook done in her own handwriting and thought I'd like to try it.
Have just spent a couple of days in York with my mum and aunt, (some photos to follow) and on the train journey down I decided to record things seen from the train (in between bouts of starting another sashiko kit!).
I must admit I was trying to keep my writing legible, and the movement of the train also had some influence.
I also had this thought about the nature of travelling - especially if you haven't gone a distance for a while, I find it both attractive, but a little scarey... as the way opens up you lose yourself, as all points of common reference are gone and you exist much more in a place of being and receiving the stimulus around you.
This note is a bit more like my own scrawly handwriting, as I only wrote it for myself originally - trying to capture the thought I was having.
Caireen you have lovely handwriting - so creative. I love your list of things you saw and liked, very similar to the things I would have written. I think lists are great and speak volumes when you re-read them. There is so much hidden within them - they are almost like a poem I think.

PS Sorry you had such difficulty leaving a comment... I don't know why... hope it resolves itself.

That is a really great idea - a great way of reminding yourself of what you have fleetingly glimpsed and the feelings you had when you did.
