wintry walk to loch lomond

Last weekend I did a wintry walk with my camera to Loch Lomond (just across the fields from my house actually).  I thought the snow would be shin deep, but already it was melting off the grass. A bit disappointing as my whitish coloured snowboots came back all covered in mud!

The tree lined ridge in the loch photo is the island of Inchcailloch, and Conic Hill to the right - the actual Highland boundary fault crossing the loch.
